Dry Weather Backpacking List
This list applies to those attending upto 2 nights of dry weather (summer conditions) backpacking.
( ) Backpack - that fits and is good repair
( ) Sleeping bag in a garbage bag lined stuff sack.
( ) Sleeping pad
( ) tent
-- you should split up among tent mates:
( ) poles
( ) stakes
( ) ground cloth
Clothing List (this includes items being worn)
*packed clothing should all be in ziploc bags *
( ) hiking boots
( ) spare laces for hiking boots
( ) three pair socks with liners
( ) three pair underwear
( ) Jeans or nylon pants (synthetic works best -- light weight and dries quickly if it gets wet)
( ) two shirts - synthetic are best - long sleeve protects against the sun and dehydration
( ) camp shoes -- old tennis shoes -- NO open toed shoes--
( ) bandana -- if you use one
( ) rains gear - lightweight
( ) fleece jacket or vest
( ) SUN HAT - will be worn
( ) towel (small 1 square foot - no larger)

Patrol Gear to be split up among Patrol Members

( ) Camp Suds or (biodegradable soap)
( ) Scrub pad/sponge (1/2 sponge will do)
